Abstract：The commonly used methods of middle and lowtemperature electroless nickel plating were summarized，including plating assisted with ultrasonic and pulsed current，the addition of accelerators，electron carders and organic acid complexing agents，as well as photochemical methods．The recent research progress of the technology wasintroduced．The research status of the field was summed up and the development direction forecasted．
